CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Thanks to everyone who made our 3rd Vacation Bible School a success!! The theme was Heroes in Action: Becoming the hero God wants you to be. We would like to thank Camp Crestfield and the Pittsburgh Prebytery for all the ways they supported our children's lenten program SPLASH. For 5 Sundays during lent we told the story of Jesus' minstry from his baptism to ascension. Every week there were songs, crafts, and even snacks to go along with the theme. This was a wonderful chance to continue building relationships with the children and their families outside of our vacation bible school program. Our second year of vacation bible school in partnership with Camp Crestfield was a great success! The theme of this year was Love to Serve. The campers learned how we are created, called, sent, and connected to serve God through bible study, crafts, games, and songs. Our fearless leaders Lindsay, Brian, and Erica They also had a day trip to Camp Crestfield where they experienced the low ropes course and climbing wall.
